Release-state report: where Brain, Wispr, Harness, and Terminal stand now
A direct release-state snapshot for Agent Brain, Agent Wispr, Agent Harness, and Agent Terminal as the suite content program reaches late summer.

The short version
As of August 31, 2026, the suite has two products with live public positioning and two that should still be described as in development.

- Agent Brain: live and actively being refined

- Agent Terminal: in development
What that means for public messaging
Wispr should be discussed as the local voice input layer for developer workflows. Brain should be discussed as the shared memory and semantic context layer for multi-tool agent work.
Harness and Terminal should be described in practical terms without implying that they are already broadly shipped. They belong in the suite story, but the wording still needs to reflect product reality.
Why this snapshot matters
One of the easiest ways to lose trust in AI tooling is to overstate release state. Teams notice quickly when roadmap language gets blurred into present-tense availability.
This report exists to keep that boundary explicit.
The suite is still useful even with uneven maturity
A four-product suite does not require all four products to be equally mature on the same day. It requires honest framing about what each product currently is. The content program should reinforce that discipline, not smooth it over.
What changes next
Future Friday updates should keep using this direct format whenever product state changes materially. If a release slips or advances, publish the update. Do not bury it in generic marketing language.
